Post Stupid question about E.B floormats for 01.

A quick question about the floormats of the Expy E.B.. Are they embroidered with the Eddie Bauer logo or just plain? Also is there a metal ring in the hole that holds the drivers mat? I was looking at mine today and they look plain and cheap.

They are plain as hell!!! Mine didnt even have the metal ring!!! Talk about gettin' ripped off!
Anyways, I bought a nice looking all weather
set that has "Expedition" down the sides on both front mats as well as the oval ford emblem in the upper center portion of both fronts. The only place that had them was a ford licensed web sight but I cant remember
the name of it to save my life. Ill check on it and post the link later.

Here's the web sight for the floor mats I was talking about. www.icollection.com
They sell all types of ford,lincoln-mercury accessories. The mats run about $150.00 for front and rears together.

Ours are plain but do have the retention for the drivers side. Our '97's were similair and held up well for 3 years.

The 2001 EB mats have Eddie Bauer embroidered into them.
They also have the retainer hole (no metal ring though)

I guess not all mats are created the same. I got my 2001 EB about 10 days ago, and the mats are plain, simple, thin, almost junk. I don't expect much life from them. No EB logo, but they do have the retainer hole.

Hmm, yep, mine are plain but do have the retainer. When I read GA Andrews post I expected to see he was in a different market that might explain the mats, but he's just down the road (about 250 miles).

Oh well, I guess I can do with the the fancy stitching that would probably come loose.
