Looking to put some sort of switch in to prevent courtesy lights from going on when I have the rear lift glass open during driving.

what i do is: where the rear glass snaps in, push that little switch in until it clicks, then the car thinks that the glass is shut and no lights. it's the ghetto way, but works. then pop open the lock with the **** and shut the rear glass when done.

Almost forgot- WELCOME to the site!!!

I carry a screwdriver and do like SVTX.

Works great at the drive-in theater. Just lift the rear gate, pop the latch into the "closed" position. Just be sure to "open" the latch before trying to close the gate!
