That sucks!!!

My Expedition was broken into a few months ago and my whole stereo system was stolen (TV, VCR, changer etc!!). Even worse, the bastards did extensive damage while trying to break in. Took over a month to get my Expy back from the body shop, and I am still arguing with the insurance company trying to get most of my money back. Is the insurance company getting you a new Expy? I hope everything turns out ok..

These things are hot in Mexico if it doesn't get chopped.

If it was only 2 days old, you should be able to do a substitution of collateral if you financed it. Basicly your lender just switches out the VIN and vehicle information on your loan with that of a new one the dealer delivers. Sweet and easy for you; well as sweet as having a new truck stolen can be.

And I agree, that sucks!

That really sucks....

Really sorry about the lost. Do you have any Idea how they got it? ie flatbed, broken window and messed up colum. Did you have any alarm system? Just some question so we can maybe prevent ours from being stolen. I KNOW if they want it they'll take it, but at least I can say I did what I can do to prevent it, if it's stolen.

Thanks and sorry.

Angry 2 Days of heaven, now for the hell!

I just went out and picked up a 2001 Expey E.B 4x4 and loved it for the two days I had it.Then someone decided my family didn't deserve this vehicle and stole it. It wouldn't hurt so bad if my favorite leather jacket, wallet, keys, cell phone and all my purchase papers weren't in the truck. Now I'm in hell having to cancel my cards and all the other crap. Anyway keep an eye on those sweet trucks because those s.o.b.s sure will

LilBear-
Very sorry to hear about what happened to your Expy. With any luck, you'll be able to get a complete replacement and be able to start enjoying your vehicle.

Best of luck.

So, I guess the key with the chip thing is worthless, You have to wonder how it was stolen, Must a been a profesional to pinch it that quick, I would ask teh dealer on the next one how is it posible to have my car stolen when they have this feature. The thief must of had some time to pinch it.

At least its new and you should have no problems replacing it.

Cool

Just picked the new Expy and I'm in love again! Man I missed this truck. It's just too bad I didn't notice until I got home that the steering wheel was totally bare of leather and felt very cheap not to mention slippery. I'm sure they'll fix the problem but I'm just tired of waiting around for things surrounding this truck. But on the bright side my payment is $92 cheaper
