does your 98 expy have remote entry on door
installing on mine but there is no numbers on RAP and no harness. I have wiring diag and will pin the the RAP but i would like to know if it was an option in 98 so I can figure out if the 98 rap module will accomodate the keypad
The keypad wasn't an option until '99, but can be installed on earlier models. Check out the FAQs at www.xpedition.net or just click here.

I have those directions, thanks.....
What I was wondering about is there is no Keypad code numbers on my RAP (remote-antiteft-personality module). I don't know how I'm going to get the access code.

Turbo,
On the 97-98 Expys, the sticker with the entry number is on the underside of the RAP. Gently remove the RAP from the firewall and the sticker is on the other side. It was placed there for security reasons. Everything is there for your modification. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks bigworm,
Right now I've contacted the dealer where I bought the truck and he is trying to get me the factory harness that goes from the pad connector to the RAP.
I think there is a number on the harness and it can be ordered. Do you this #? I did read, and I am technically capable of wiring the key pad to the RAP but would perfer not to cut the connector at the end of the keypad.
The next things I would like to install would be electronic climate control unit, outside temp guage, passenger side power seat, and for fun the heated seat option. would you have any info on these projects?
Thanks Mike

Turbo,
I have the numbers at work. I will get them tomorrow and post them for you. As for your other projects, I am not familiar with them. However, I might be interested in helping you with them, online that is. Let me know what you come up with.
