Post Expedition seat comfort

Can some of you expy owners out there give me some feedback on how comfortable there seats are? I have a 98 with cloth, very hard , uncomfortable seats. Are the leather seats better? How about 99 cloth seats? I would really appreciate some replies because If I can't find some better seats the vehicle is for sale!

My 2000 EB of course has the leather seats and I'm very happy with it. I think they're very comfortable and I have a bit if a tricky back. Local driving or long distance they're great.

I think from 1999 to 2000 the seats may have changed a little. I hear that at one time, they had a worthless armrest. And the 2000 has memory seats, I mean seat. You still can't get a power passenger seat. That still bugs me, but I don't sit there so what am I complaining about!

The leather will be stiffer than the cloth so you won't gain anything with the leather. Your best bet is to find aftermarket seats that suit your needs. However most aftermarket seats will be somewhat firmer with more support. If you're looking for Buick Roadmaster softies then visit a good trim shop and have them repad your existing seats (the cheapest alternative).

Cool

I own a 98 F150 with the cloth 60/40 split bench and my wife has the 2000 Expedition EB her leather bucket seats are alot softer than mine, they have more padding. I can drive all day in her truck, my truck, you get sore after an hour.

Thanks filmcan, glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks the cloth seats are too firm.
I'm not looking for super soft seats, just comfortable ones. My 86 Porsche had firm seats but they were the best I've ever sat in. Does anyone know if the Eddie Bauer leather and the XLT leather have the same cushions?
