Thumbs up Just installed IAS shocks!

Just got the Expy back from having a set of IAS shocks put on. At 40,000 miles it was time for shocks, but these are VERY nice. Tamed a bit of the body roll and it behaves much nicer on uneven pavement. Still am eyeing a sway bar to help calm down the cornering roll, but these shocks have helped out quite a bit!

Anyone running IAS's with the Helwig anti-sway bar? What's it like?

To date:
Superchip upgrade (Well worth it!)
Edelbrock IAS shocks

Planned upgrades:
K&N FIPK
Jardine exhaust
Anti-sway bar
17" or 18" wheels - undecided on these and what tires to put on them

Congrats on the shocks. I personally think they are worth the money. And, the more you drive with them, the more you'll appreciate how much better they are compared to stock.

One other thing that tremendously helps with the ride and handling are better tires. Some nice wide (and good) tires along with the shocks and you may not need the swaybar.

kptaylor-
I've been running the IAS shocks on my 2K Expy for the last 6 months. Absolutely love them! I, too, am looking into the Hellwig rear anti-sway bar. I think the latest price is $129 from Summit Racing.

Nomo-
Currently, I am running the stock 16" Wilderness AT tires(no!, there are not on the recall list...damn). I am partial to Michelin tires. When you say "wide tires", how much larger\wider can I go with my vehicle without speedo issues.

I installed the IAS's with the Helwig anti-sway bar and wow what a difference. The truck is more choppy on backroads but small price to pay. I will have to agree with nomo I now see myself pushing the truck harder due to less body roll. I have the 17" on my but I just got a set of lighning 18" and falcon tires cant wait to put on
