In this particular model the location of the resistor is not in the same location as the other diagrams show. I followed the plug from the fan and it takes me to the passenger side wall, from that point I dont know where the resistor goes. I've seen some pictures of locations and with this model it is not there. Please respond if you have any ideas, thank you.

 

On blower housing behind/below glove compartment is where mine was.

 

PLEASE ANYBODY I DO UNDERSTAND THE LOCATION AND I SEE THE PICTURES , BUT IN THIS PARTICULAR MODEL I DONT SEE IT,I TRIED TO LOOK FOR THE ELECT. CABLES ,FROM THE FAN IT GOES TO A MODUL ????

 

What kind of a "module"? Pictures or at least a detailed description.

 

OP, try posting your concern in the correct forum. You will get more hits.

 

Go back to the "fan" end and unplug it. You should see that the plug matches the plug on the resistor in your hand.

 

thanks I did that, but the fan plug is a 2 prong and the resistor is 4
please maybe a diagram???

 

Take plastic cover off below your glove compartment and you will get a better view. It should be right there. I just changed mine and that is where it was. The 2000 expy and my gen 1 crew are the same.
