Post Third Seat

I am looking to sell my third seat from a 2000 Expedition and want to know if it will fit other years' Expedition. Especially 97, 98.

Any help would be appreciated.

No it won't fit. In 2000 Ford added the Support bar for tipping the seat forward without removing it, and also widened the mounting brackets to fit in the wheels they put on the seat. It won't fit anything but a 2000 model.

Sorry.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the seat will be taking up space in my garage.

Thumbs up

El Gato, all is not lost. The way I read it, the seat is standard but, can be deleted for a credit of $544 invoice? All you need to do is find someone planning to order an Expedition with the same interior as you. Sell them your seat for $272 and let them get the $544 credit.

Thanks Raoul. I wish I would have known that before I ordered mine. It it suppose to be here this weekend. Do you think I still can get the credit now, even though it's on the way?
