04 Valet bulb

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to get to this bulb. Its located under the mirror[passenger side] Just to be clear, the valet light I am talking about is when you unlock/open the doors. He are a few pics. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I HAVE TRIED THE SCREW SHOWN IN THE PIC WITH THE MIRROR FOLDED IN

Thanks. There is a "star" screw and I loosened it, but it didnt seem to do anything. Seems you can pull the housing off, but I do not want to take that chance

I haven't done it, but instructions say for you to take off the mirror glass (release two tabs), then slide the signal assembly away, release the tabs, then remove the assembly from vehicle.

This is to replace the signal mirror bulb, but I'd figure it should work for the puddle lamp (I think that's what they are called) since they see to be in the same assembly.
