Exclamation Calling rdsii

Rdsii,

Sorry, since this board doesn't have e-mail address capabilities, I'm having to post this publicly.

I read that you have a Borla cat-back on your Expy. Where did you get it and how much do these kits normally go for? I have been to Borla's website and they have no listing for Expeditions. Also, is the exhaust tip aimed "out" towards the side of the vehicle or is it like the stocker (and several aftermarket ones I've seen) where it curves down?

I had a Borla cat-back on a '94 Lightning I owned and it the sound quality was great, but unobtrusive to the cabin. Most are not like that, so I'd like to go Borla again with the new Expy. I know its not cheap, but...

Thanks,

The borla cat back was done by the shop that did my 4.10 gears and vortech Supercharger. That sold be the system for there cost ~$575 and installed for free. I guess the least they could do after I droped a buck load of $$$$. My is a single outlet and it does match the factory except it 3" dia and all polished up. Wes in side the truck you don't hear much more noise but out side it has a nice sound. It also seems to make more noise the harder you drive. As far a quality it fits like ford did it and looks like a work of art. I did see a good performance. Some say they don't but I think I was getting too much backpressure after supercharging.

Have a good one
