Post Rear sway bar

Has anyone upgraded the rear sway bar with an IPD, Steeda, etc..? If so, did it make a big improvement? I'm thinking of trying the IPD.

Hellwig and Stillen seem to have been popular with the guys on the Expedition mailing list. Users of both brands report much improved handling.

I put a Helwig on my 99, and it made a difference. Money well spent.

Hi All,

JC Whitney has a Hellwig "Sport Tech" Anti-Sway Bar in their catalog for 1997 - 1999 Expeditions for $134.95 plus shipping.

Plus look on the last page of your latest catalog for a 10% off coupon, this lowers the price to $121.45. Anybody find a lower price?

This should work on the 2000's, don't you think?

Best Regards
Michael

What is the diameter of the Hellwig bar? I know that the IPD bar is 1 1/8in dia but cost is close to $200.00 with shipping.

Paid 134 for my swaybar from Summit racing. Shop around the net for the best price. I wasn't to happy with the customer relations when I tryed to return some shocks under the 30 day satisfaction garrentee. They told me I have to talk to the manufacture. At least they gave me that #. The manufacture did replace my shocks with some custom one's. Edlebrock was the name.

Installed the IPD about 1 month ago with Eddlebrock shocks. Feels like a different vehicle with greatly improved handling. Side to side roll is almost totally gone and tracking is much more positive.
