Had my XP for a year and tranny had a case of metal chunks at 5,200 mi. (Overdrive Solenoid failed). The only thing I hated was being without it while tranny was replaced. It's still too much fun to drive and look at to hate, tho i did hate being without while tranny was replaced. I also hated the possibility Ford would stick me with a re-manufactured replacement at only 5kmi. Lucky for the dealer unit that showed up was new.
