Are you asking if the "code" can be changed or the "key pad" itself being changed?

I would say, if you are in need of a new keypad, you will have to order it from the dealer.

As for changing the code, you should have instructions for that in your manual.

If you are asking if the code can be changed. Yes. There is a code that was entered at the factory and that remains in the computer even if a new code is entered. So there can be two codes at one time. The factory code and the one added by the owner. To enter a new code, you must know the factory code, enter it, and go through the procedure listed in the manual. You can change it as often as you like.

The factory code is on a label wherever the Body Control Module is located for the Expediton. If you can't locate it, the dealer can hook up a computer and get a read out, but it normally will cost about $40.

If you mean the handle itself, order a new one or get one at the wrecking yard.
