Angry Windshield Wipers won't turn off

I first noticed it when I would use the turn signals, the wipers would turn on. Weird, first few times I thought it was me now however the dang wipers come on when I start the car and stay on.

Everything is turned off, we had checked and double checked. So has anyone had this happen before? Ideas for fixes?

On another note, might be related or not but my windshield wiper fluid WARNING light won't turn off even when the tank has been filled and refilled.

Suggestions?

First, you have a bad sensor inside the reservoir for the washer light. Very common. Only a new reservoir will fix that. The wipers, on the other hand, could be just a faulty multifunction switch, or it is possible that water has gotten inside the fuse box from a bad windshield seal. See that a lot on the older 97-03 F150s. Play with the turn signal switch and see if you can get them to turn off. Could also be a relay has stuck on. Owner's manual will show those. Good luck.
