This my be a dumb question, but I was under my 03 Expedition, and I cannot find the fuel filter anywhere. The truck is 4x4, and I looked along the inside and ouside framerails on both sides. I am hoping it is in a hidden location, so I don't feel like a jackass Thanks in advance.

 

I believe it is the same as the 2000, below the rear door on the drivers side, inside the rail frame itself, if you look from the driveshaft outwards while the car is on the lift

 

Here's where mine is. Granted, mine is the 4.6, though I think it should be in the same place, towards the end of the driver side running board.
