08 speaker help

I want to add speakers to the third row for travelling. I know there is a lot of room in the plastic molding on the side. I was thinking about cutting holes and attaching them so you only see the top of the speaker.
Has anyone does this.

Also I would like to see what you guys have done with sub installs and still not loose any space.

Thanks

I have wanted to do this too. You may have to add an amp, as wiring it with the head unit might pull too much current through it. I would install some 5x7's and use the grills.

I think Ill pick up a small amp. I don't I need much power to run those speakers plus the factory. I have two audibahn amps but those are going in the Screw.

I will start looking into some 5x7's

Just make sure that the location of the speaker won't impede the third row seats from going up or down.
