Trying to get my 98 Expy lookin beast

33s are pushing it on the stock suspension. Yeah you can probably put 35s on there but you're going to have all kinds of issues with anything other than driving in a straight line. The gap is there for a reason. No gap, no room for suspension travel.

I have A 98expy with 285-70-17s and i have NO rubbing. I'mlooking to move upto 295's or 305's with just haveing to do a spring spacer and torshin twist.

What is a torshin twist? Can you do that yourself?

I'm pretty sure he is referring to Cranking the Torsion bars. Yes it can be done, you can get up tp 1.5 inch of lift, but it also put strain on everything else and rides stiff aftewards...


and no Pat, the H1 is not mine... Soon ot be though

Your Torsion Bars have a adjustment bolt that can be truned to give you up to a 1.5" lift. there is pro's and con's with this, stiffer ride and parts tend to brake more often. I ran mine at about 1" for 6yrs and never had parts fail, anything high than a 1" and your looking for things to break.
