Need help diagnosing a problem!!!

So I have a 06' EB Expedition and on the way to go grocery shopping the truck started acting pretty weird. We were driving down the neighborhood when it seemed like the starter just started to kick on by itself while we were in drive and moving at around 30mph. It made some whicked metal on metal sound and I immediately pulled off to the side and shut her off. When I went to start it again, it immediately fired up when put on the "on" or "ACC" position without having to move it that extra 1/4" like normal. Continued to do this as we turned around, but I'm not quite sure if it is a starter/solenoid or ignition switch type problem. Anyone have any insight?

Also, does anyone know where I can find the ignition switch?

Sounds like the switch. It's the part the key goes into.

So you are saying the switch is inside the tumbler? Didn't see anything resembling a switch nor were there any type of electrical connections on the tumbler itself. Now there was a module that was directly underneath the tumbler... is that what you are referring too? Thanks for any help btw
