2003 expedition tranny question
Hey everyone,
about a month and a half ago I got a used 2003 expedition for the wife. I am now noticing that when you go WOT to pass someone when it shifts there is a squell that seems to be coming from the tranny. I say this because it happens right at the shift. There are no check engine lites or driving issues with this truck. 5.4 liter v-8 w/auto trans and auto 4wd. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the engine serpentine belt may be slipping. I'd try replacing it with something like a Goodyear Gatorback...or don't drive that poor truck at WOT like that.
