2003 Expedition ??
Hey everyone,

I got this suv for the wife. it has a 5.4 V8 and I was wondering where is a good place to look for a code to see if it has a limited slip rear diff.

Look on the door tag under "AXLE." If it's a limited slip axle, it'll have a one letter/one number designation, like B9, or H5. If it's an open axle, it'll just be two numbers like 34 or 45 or something like that.

you can also crawl underneath and look for a metal tag attached to the rear (maybe front too, not sure) diff. Mine says 373LS meaning 3.73 ratio, limited slip.
