Replacing the speed sensor.

I think the speed sensor is bad on my 98 Navi. Has anyone ever replaced one of these? Is it hard, and what tools do I need? Wheres the best place to get the sensor? Thanks fellas

Why do you think it's bad?

Also, need to know if your Navi is 4X2 or 4X4.

The VSS should be mounted to the left rear of the transmission tailshaft housing.

Well there is a TSB on it. It says to replace abs speed sensor. It was doing the false abs cycling only a few times, then I bleed the brakes and I played around with that sensor and now it does it all the time. I hope its the speed sensor Im talking about!.! Its that sensor thats right behind the brake shield right? It has a allen head screw that holds it down. And its a 4x4.
