Hey there...My oil light comes on and my pressure gauge drops to zero intermittantly...sometimes.

Yes, I have oil and the engine does not make any horrible noise. The longest it was on was about 2 minutes.

Any ideas? If it is just a sending unit ill change it rather than have the charges from the dealer...

 

Replace the sending unit switch next to the oil filter.

Soooo when the light is on..I have no oil pressure? Or is the sending unit just for the Godawful gauge they use.
