Question What are your thoughts on buying a Used Expedition with 110,000 miles?

I'm in the market for an Expedition and the one I'm looking at has about 110,000 miles (2000 XLT 4x4).

Even if it looks good and runs good, and checks out ok with a technician,
Is it ok to buy an Expedition with that many miles?

All information is appreciated.

As long as it has been properly maintained and if you can get maintenance records that is even better... there is a good chance it would be a good truck.

Bought my 98 with 134k. Leaky oil lines, leaky headgaskets, leaky axle seals... just the usual Ford stuff

If there was no oil leaks and the price was right I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Also make sure the cruise control recall has been performed

If not, no biggie. Any dealer can do it in 10 minutes

Hopefully the plugs have been changed and ball joints as well. These are 2 big expenses. Many of these newer vehicles can go over 200K. I am so particular I have a spread sheet with every repair. The next owner will be lucky! Good luck with your decision.

285k on my 99 Expy 5.4. The only work I have had to do is normal maintenance. Plugs twice, upper controls arms twice, lower ball joints once, spark plugs three times, cop's twice.
