Can Adding a SuperCharger to an Expedition Increase Towing Capacity at all?

If your weakest link is power, yes.

But a lot of supercharger kits will mention no technical increase, and some even tow less. You will need to make some other changes as well most likely to keep it safe.

Sure will, especially if you go with a whipple (screw-type) supercharger. They make full boost off idle -- so you'll see huge low-end torque (that's pretty flat all the way across the power band) and much better hp under the curve. They are also pretty simple to install vs. a turbo or even centrif. (vortech/paxton) style s/c.

However, you will need to get it tuned on a dyno, along with bigger injectors, match maf, etc to keep the setup safe. Having had a vortech on one mustang and a whipple on another in the past -- the whipple is just a better s/c for around town driving or in your case towing - as the vortech builds boost with rpm. You should easily see a 100hp,120ft/lb gain with a very conservative tune and ~6psi.
