I recently got an '06 and will be having my XCAL2 retuned for it.

Any of you folks have Troyer tunes? What did you go for in your tunes? Do you like what it did?

I have the 4.6l which really really needs power and tuning. TP did three for me on the xcal2 - 87perf, 93perf and 93 perf tow. I am using the 93 perf w/ an AF1 intake. The truck handles much better. Zippy so to speak. Can accellerate nicely on the highway, plenty of zip from a stand still. I am also using royal purple synthetic oil.

Not much change in mpg, but I hope to do a datalogging session and maybe some final tweaks will help that. Even still, the mpg didn't go down, and I have a truck now that I like to drive. My kids love to ride in it, especially when we go 'up and down' on the rolling hill backroads. Way fun!

I am sure TP could do an excellent job of tuning up your new Exp and get even better results than I did.

I just got the tunes for my wife's 05 expy in the email today. I will be loading them later on tonight. I got 91 mpg, 91 towing, 91 max tunes. I also orderd the efans and the air force one intake.

 

I Have Troyer stage 1 on my 06 Expedition. I went with 91 max 87max and 87 tow. I loaded the 91 max and it was like I bought a new truck. Troyer tunes rock.
