Ok, so maybe I'm being a little dumb here, but when I lock my doors using the Remote key fob, my parking lights flash (normal), but I also just noticed that my entire instrument cluster and radio illuminate for a few seconds as well. Did I not realize this before, or could it have something to do with me wiring a MP3 adapter into the same circuit as my power point in my center console??

Is this normal operation?? Am I just very tired, and never noticed this before??

Normal. Anytime your lights come on, your dash turns on also. They are all tied in together.
