2003 navigator dash light not working

2003 navigator dash light not working

can anyone help me with this problem? my dashboard lights or (instrument cluster) as some people call it, does not light up. Only the red needles that indicate the amount of gas, water temp, oil temp etc....... lights up

i finally tried to fix my dash light

its me again, i tried to fix the dash light in my 2003 navigator, i took out the dash & opened it & i saw that one of the plugs has some burn marks. its plug right next to a transformer looking thing, i am sure this is my problem but i want to no if this can be repaired or do i have to buy a new cluster

I can't speak for the burnt up wiring, but I've replaced a lot of illumination modules in those things before. Can you post a picture of what you're talking about?
