Can someone tell me where the starter motor is at on a 97 expedition with the 4.6 engine?

 

I have never looked at one, but it has to be underneath the engine, sticking into the flexplate cover. It will be stuck into the front of the transmission, hanging paralell with the engine, the end pointing to the front of the truck.
