Navigator headlight question

Navigator headlight question

Hello,

Myself an F150 guy, i just noticed that some Navigator has some kind of HID or what is it ??

I know Ford doesnt offer HID for these truck, Navi. but am i wrong?

I think the newest Navi's have a HID look with a projector lens.

Umm i dont think so cuz their headlight look excalty as F150 2004-2006 and Expy 04-06 too.

You forget that lincoln gets all the goodies that its ford breathren don't. Even with the same size and proportion lights, they'll get HID or HID style long before an F150 will.

Yes, HID

There are currently only two types of HID systems use by OEMs--projector-style and reflector style.

Projector style systems use D2S bulbs while the reflector systems (Navigator) use D2R bulbs.

They are basically the same except the D2S bulbs have a built-in cutoff shield to reduce glare to the oncoming traffic.

Ford started offering HID with the current generation of Navigators.

Yeah, like I said, Lincoln first, ford second. Thats just the way you run a flagship line.
