1998 Expedition. 4x4, 4.6L, 144,000 miles, never any sort of mechanical defect, was previously owned by a Corporate Fleet Service, aftermarket cd player, rear air, pair of Pro Comp 130 watt Off-road lights up front.
KBB says around $6900, but I have no idea.
Thanks guys

TYhe market for gas hogs is far from gone down here in the south, especially where the money is still prevelant. I run a big carwash, and at least 60% of the vehicles that come through are still soccer moms with gargantuan SUV's loaded with more shiat than you could ever dream possible in a car.
That being said however, the prices are somewhat depressed on a nationwide average right now. You just have to find the right buyer
And oh yeah, moving south doesn't negate the need for 4x4. We just had an ice storm last week that totaled quite a few cars on icy roads.

Just traded the wife explorer (03) for a new 05 expedition xlt sport, has most options inc leather, backing sensor, dvd, rear air/heat etc. 40000 with 0% financing, payment 550 mo. At first they said the payment would be around 700, said no way, then they said we can get it around 623-625 (explorer payment) we said "ahhhhh we'll just keep what we have, he says I'll get your keys, he comes back and says 550, SOLD, lol.

or rebate loan 34000 6.9 578 mo
I chose the 1st option and saved 20 a month, of course there is the drawback that you can't pay it off early and save on interest. Soooooooooo we'll just be making the minimum.........

Got the Answer!
Well I found out what my 98 Eddie Bauer was worth yesterday. $10,700. A guy from Columbus came up Monday and looked at it for his son, and gave me a deposit. He came back yesterday with the rest of the money. I had it on auto trader since Dec 28th, so it sold in about 4 weeks. Not bad. Today I went to my wifes dealership (she works for chevy) and picked up my new car. She got the GM employee discount and they still took a little more off by dropping their dealer holdback. The only regret I have is not getting the Z51 suspension and brake package, and I can't believe they are still using that totally irritating skip shift system, which I will disable at my earliest convenience, but other than that I'm totally thrilled with the car. I'm just glad it wasn't snowing when I picked it up. It was cold but dry so I got to play with it on the way home. Well here it is. 06 C6 M6 Red/Blk.
