Which tranny do I have?
I have an 01 eddie bauer expy, 4x4, 5.4, tow package. The sticker on the tranny is unreadable and the pan and bell housing look just like the 4r100 in my lightning, but I wanted to make sure. Is it standard to put the 4r100 behind the 5.4 with 4x4?

All Expeditions and Navigators got the 4R100, at least until the '05 model year when the Expedition went to the 4R75W and the Navigator went to a ZF 6FHFP-something or another 6 speed box.
