This weekend I started it up after getting a coffee at Starbucks and the the back lighting for all the buttons in the cab flickered along with the dim for the nav system. I turned it off opened the door and started it up again. It did the same thing then nothing. Now the back lighting does not work and the radio display will not dim, but the gauges are lit and do dim when the lights are on.

Do you think it is the relay or something more serious. I just hate to have a hassle for the day to take it in if I don't have to.

 

Well it turns out that it was the "dimmer control module." So I guess it wasn't the relay after all. They had to order the part in.
