I have a 97 Expy 5.4. Battery is maybe 3 or 4 years old. Yesterday, 2 doors were left open for maybe 20-30 minutes. Truck turned over sluggishly and worked fine afterwards.

Won't start this morning. All the lights and powerseat works, and so I tried jumping the truck. Just one click and that's it. No weird started noises like a grinding or anything. Could it still be a bad starter?

Try to jump start it agian. Also try tapping the starter with a hammer. If it starts id say its the starter

 

Check the cable on the starter. My 98 did that one day. I crawled underneath to whack the stater with a hammer while a co-worker turned the key and I found the cable end had broken off the starter.
