I can not find the EGR on the 5.4L 32v in my 2000 Navigator. I have found the DFPE, but no clue wher ethe EGR is. Any help and if possible, a pic, would be greatly appreciated. Also what should I use to clean it or check for clogged ports?

Is it possible to remove the TB on the 5.4? I was looking at it good and it looks like the are 3 bolts holding it to the intake aside from all the other B/S that you have to remove or loosen. There is a bolt all the way in the back under the firewall that looks like a Bi@$#. Has anyone removed the TB from the 5.4 navi before. Any input would be awsome. Thanks.

 

yes, the TB will come off. Remember, your 98 navi has a regular 2 valve 5.4 like the expy and f150, and a 99 and newer will have the 4 valve one.
