heated/AC seat questions

How in the world are the seats AC?? How does it work? I am trading my King ranch on friday for an 03 Eddie Bauer and was wondering. Sure looks like a nice truck.

Cooling is done with fans and a peltier element. (google it) I'm pretty sure that it also provides the heat function, though this may be done conventionally.

The Peltier thingy applies heat as well. Current applied one way cools the element, reverse it and it heats it.

I just got these on my new 06 EB Expedition. You will love them. It's not a real draft, but you definitely feel it after a minute or two of turning them on.
