loose mirror

My 97 exped. EB has a loose drivers side mirror. It is the turn signal/heated one. The power works but the mirror jiggles all the time. Is it possible to tighten this?

Broken guide pin, maybe. There is no way to tighten them, the mirrors are a plastic snap fit into the housing, and motor drive mounts. I know, I changed both mirrors on my 99.
