04 Door Problems
I seem to have a problem with the doors and rear latch being loose and rattling. Anyone have these problems and know if it the dealers can fix them easily?
1. Right front/left rear doors-After a few miles of driving these doors start to rattle. Not only on bumps, but accelarating and braking like the doors are loose. If I push on them, you can hear the latches make a sound. It's a metallic sound almost like there is something is tapping the side or bottom of the car. Think is a metal nut tied to a tring from the front of the car. Then as you drive that nut floats around in the wind every so often striking the door or under side.
2. Rear hatch-rattles on any bump. The sound seem to be orginating from those rubber stops on the D pillars. These stops make contact with the spring loaded piece on the hatch.
Any thoughts or experience you can share is appreciated. I want to take it to the delaer for a fix, but want to direct them to the correct area so they don't waste their time or mine.
