04 Brake Dust?

I have a 04 XLT Expedition and I am nearing time for new brakes, has anyone figured out a solution for the brake dust problems. Different pads, rotors? It drives me crazy to have a clean truck and 2 day later black rims. Am willing to do near about anything. I assume this has been discussed before but could not find any previous threads. Thanks for the help.

I believe the solution is better brake pads. I hear Hawk and EBC pads are much better.

Aftermarket ceramic pads (Raybestos, etc), if available for your truck, will cure this.

I agree on the aftermarket pads. I have been running Raybestos "Quiet Stop" ceramics for 3 years. I did end up going to their VSG rotors for the front due to warping (mostly the NASCAR braking required down here in South Florida). The VSG are the recommended rotor for the Quiet Stops. I got them online for about $60 a piece from Rock Auto.com
