2001 Expidition Bauer.
driver door locks and un-locks via the remote and the door switch. other three doors will only lock BUT will NOT unlock.?

any ideas aside from bringing it to the local dealer. i prefer to research and repair these things myself.

 

Do a sreach on door locks or keyless entry. I was reading a thread on here telling about to program that feature.

 

That's correct. You push the remote's unlock button once to unlock the driver's door only, and again within 5 seconds to get the other 3 doors and the rear door. This behaviour has become fairly standard by most makers these days...

 

that's what I was going to say. Hit it 2 times and it''l do both. Your locks aren't broken

you just didn't read the manual....
