Question Gas Tank Noise

I've got an intermittent whistling noise coming from the gas tank. Other than the filler cap, is there any vents on the tank that could cause this noise? I've tried changing caps with no luck. Someone said it may be the fuel pump, but when I remove the cap, the whistling goes away. Any other suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks,
John

You're on the right track. If it's not the cap, there is something "leaking" the pressure. Removing the cap is only releaseing the pressure so it's not "whistling" out whatever it is leaking.
