Can anyone tell me how much a trany flush should cost and is it normally only dealerships that have the equipment to perform it... Thanks...

if you look in the tranny section you might find pricing in CA, but here in Houston Texas, it is $175 from the dealer, and $70 from my local Jiffy Lube. The $70 is a discount from a friend, but I think normal is $90.

$175 from you dealer?

I had my Ford/Lincoln dealer do a tranny flush on my 4R100 this spring, and I only paid $140. Canadian. Works out to about $100 US. Sounds like your dealer's pricing is a little out of wack...

Did you get the full tranny flush or the pan drop and filter change? Here I had 2 options, a full flush (uses about 20 qts of fluid to flush tranny) or I could get the pan drop filter change (does NOT change fluid in the TC). The flush is 175, the pan drop is 100. But you might be right, its always way over priced from a dealer.
