Expedition pinging update
Well I tore the throttle body and elbow off, cleaned the egr
ports(were 50% plugged) cleaned the t/b,cleaned the IAC and egr.Installed platinum +4 spark plugs and installed a B&M shift plus module and the pinging went away.The expe always lugged in the 3rd to 4th shift and pinged like hell.Now it shifts firmly and takes longer to go into 4th as before it would go into 4th whenever it felt like it.I did drive it 60 miles before i put the shift plus module in and it still pinged just not as bad as before.
