I know we don't drive race trucks. Just curious if some of ya'll have had the urge to see what your Expy would do. I took mine down the track a few times and my best time was 15.831 around 85mph. Don't remember the exact mph I was more interested with the ET. And at the time I made the run I had 150k + miles on my truck. I have a 99 5.4 with a super chip, e-fan, k & n drop in filter and cobra water pump.

 

I always wondered, but guessed mine would have been in the 15.5 to 16 range.

Never thought I'd get a beast like this and actualy be able to hit the 14's.

 

Its been a while,, if I remember right for my 97 5.4 2wd with a 3.31 rear, totally stock and weighs in at 4850lbs, it ran a 16.5 @80 mph and a 9.5 0 to 60


This was tested with a G-Tech pro that is within a few hundredths of the dragstrip slips.

 

Mine wieghed 5186 with me in it. I think I could have gotten better times with some practice. That was only the 4th time to ever go down the track with it. And only did it twice that night and twice a month earlier.
