Has anyone ever added the 3rd row seating in an Expedition ?? I need one and would like to purchase one and put it in but not sure what it would entail... The truck was bought new without the 3rd seat option so it currently just has carpet with a couple of tie-downs... Has anyone attempted this before... Any input is appreciated...

 

Unfortunately it really can't be done if it did not have the factory original third seat. There are a whole bunch of differences in the floor pan for mounting that would be near difficult to reproduce. Even if you could it would be very costly.

Now if you have the four set points then it did originally come with the third seat and so looking at junk yards or ebay would be your best bet.

I have a third row seat, covered in my basement. It is beige leather and in perfect shape. It came with my 2000 Expy.

I am interested in selling it.
