Alan,

I'm going to try this again. My first reply got poofed. This board seems to be acting weird lately, although like you, I don't get on here that much any more.

Anyhow, the short version of what I HAD said before was....

The dealer may still have the Expy I'm not sure. They should be able to make some good money on it although, I know what they can sell it for. Had I known, I may have been able to deliver it to you as well! My wife has family including a sister in Tulsa.

The Ex. is great though. I don't drive much these days and I may only break 300 miles in the first 2 weeks only because I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow to have the Ford Gold security and remote start syatem installed.

So far I've only added Silverstars in the headlights (decided to leave the driving lights alone this time) and have her sitting on 285 Revo's and of course I have my chrome Searay wave on the rear glass. Front springs and rear aig bags and maybe shocks could be next although I'm itching for exhaust and gauges so they are on top of the list as well. Fueling box or programmer will have to wait a few months to see what the aftermarket does. It's getting better for the 6.0 now and Superchips claims to be the first to actually tune it completly but won't have a programmer out for a while. It's the same issue as the 3v 5.4 and them getting a programmer right for the CAN system.

I have to say, "thank you" for the complement. To say you'd be that interested in buying the Expy and never having seen it says a lot. Of course the humble part of me says "Why the heck not? All that work keeping it like new, and even better, says something!"

I did keep the chip and need to get that out on the classifieds. It's for a ZUT2 code. Not sure I could get much for the stock shocks, rear anti-sway bar, exhaust and I think that's all I still have.

Darn, I have the ZUT4 program. I have thought about getting a chip for a long time, but just never taken the time to do the research as to what I want, and they void the warrantly also dont they? When you say rear anti-sway bar, your talking about the stocker, not the Hellwig are you? Anyway, what dealership is your truck at? I have been thinking for awhile about selling my X also, been looking at the Infiniti FX45, but cant justify paying $45,000 for a vehicle smaller than the Expedition. But damn its fast and looks incredible. Also looked at buying a new Expedition, but outside of the fold-into-the-floor third row and IRS I think I actually like my truck better. Guess that just leaves the Excursion as my only choice also...naa, hold onto mine for a bit longer, its paid for . Again, good luck and congrats! Nice truck.

One more thing, if you dont mind me asking (if you do I understand) what did they end up giving you as a trade-in on it?
