Diff. between 97 & 98 expy
Is the 98 Expy basically the same as the 97 ? The powertrain, engine etc. I can get a Service manual for a 97 or 99..

Your '98 is closer to a '97 than a '99. The '99 had certain revisions to the electrical system, front differential, trans and transfer case.
