Air Suspension compressor

Hi all,

I see a few of you here have expeditions with the load leveling suspension, my 2000 Epd's compressor has been getting louder and louder, and seems to run longer over the past 6 months, I fugure its probably going to fail or quit judging by the sound. Has anyone here replaced that, or know of any maintenance that can be done to it?? I have read many of the articles here about replacing the Air Susp. with standard shocks/springs, and I may end up pursuing that path.

Input on the Pro/Cons of going to a Standard Susp. versus Fixing and keeping the Air Susp. ( Beside the masive cost diff)

Thanks
