Folks, I just got a 2003 EB Expy, and to my dismay, the seat is popping. My 2000 did the same thing, but stopped after a little while. This one pops no matter how I set it.

Now, this probably wouldn't bother most, and if I turn the stereo up loud enough, it doesn't bother me, but I know it's there....

I don' want to take it back and be without it for a day, but damn.... It's bothering me.

Anyone else had this problem? if so, what was the problem.

No, it's no nickname, trust me. That name is well earned.

6'2", 270-280, solid- not juicy.
Therefore, Toyota Corolla's are out of the question.

Yet, strangely enough- the seats in my F-150's, and in the Maxima, Cutlass, etc never popped- it think it's that freaking lumbar thingy. Everytime I used it in my old Expy, when I hit a bump, it would pop, so I could never use it. having never had lumbar support before, I didn't miss it. But, this one pops when it's retracted, and it pops more when extended.

My buddies Acura MDX seats don't pop, nor do the seats in his RL, and those cars, while sold in America- are built for the Asian sized people. 5'4", 120 lbs. I haven't been 120 since 5th grade!
