Ignition interup
Is there a way to reprogram the alarm/ignition interup system on
my '97 Expedition?
I replaced the battery and now the alarm/ignition interupt won't let me start with out first turning on the ignition to start (no starter spin) the back to on and press the reset, then it will start. If I shut it off and restart quickly it works, but if it rearms I have to go thru the same sequence. It is a factory system and the remote locking works. The LED is now blinking in a different pattern when I attempt to cancel the system with the remote control.
Would I be better off and save money getting a new aftermarket system?
