DIY One-Liners

There seems to be a lot of simple fixes for minor problems, and some easy "why didn't I think of that?" upgrades/appearance mods. How about a thread of very brief ideas so we can search the forums if interested for details?

I'll start:

1. Idle problems? Try replacing or cleaning the IAC.

2. No radio display? Try resoldering the board inside.

3. ABS light on? Try replacing the sensor on top of the rear differential.

4. Got a 97 with an off road bumper? Remove the licence plate bracket with a utility knife. It looks great!

Here's another:

Want auto-lights during the day? Cover the sensor on top of the dash, just below the window.

I guess my topic was misleading for some. If you read the first 2 posts, you'll see where I wanted to go with this.

I've saved a lot of money, and found a lot of very useful information about FORDS here. I wanted to see a thread or forum for a collection of these pointers. Maybe I'm the only one...........

The suburbalanche was funny, but couldn't we could start another thread for that?

Sorry, I thought the one about the soldering of the board inside the radio was a joke. How many folks could actually re-solder the board when first they probably don't have a soldering iron, second have no idea where the problem exist and third just take it into a shop for repairs as they don't have time. I didn't mean to blow your thread captain but I really thought a few were jokes.

Rock,

That Suburbalanche was the funniest thing I've seen in a while, lmfao. Did you see that in KY near your house or did you get with Lenny again and photochop that bad boy?
